Assessment of your symptoms – What is involved?

Back in Motion Physiotherapy can assist you with overcoming these symptoms and returning to your usual activities. We have a physiotherapist who has trained in the USA on an internationally recognised intensive 5-day Vestibular Rehabilitation Course in vestibular health. She will evaluate each client’s specific needs and develop an individualized treatment plan to address those needs.

A vestibular evaluation includes a subjective history of symptoms. From that information we will carry out a number of the following:

Cervical spine (neck) assessment;
Oculomotor (eye) tests;
Specific vestibular function tests;
Balance tests;
Specific positional tests;
Motion sensitivity tests.
Gait (walking) assessment; and
Specific tests for breathing conditions and anxiety;
