Ovio Mindfulness Classes are now available at Back in Motion

Mindfulness has been proven to be highly effective for:

  • Reducing stress, anxiety and depression
  • Improving concentration, memory and brain function
  • Improving heart health and general wellness
  • Increasing relaxation and feeling better about ourselves
  • Improving productivity

The course involves 3 x 1-hour sessions to enable participants to:

  1. Reduce the amount of time spent living ‘in our heads’ and carrying out our lives in autopilot.
  2. Explore strategies to switch off distracting thoughts and worries and focus on the moment.
  3. Learn to pause in order to respond to triggers rather than react in an automatic fashion.
  4. Learn powerful new skills that assist with improving focus and engagement; reduce stress and anxiety; increase confidence, productivity and enhance relationships

Four of our staff have been trained as facilitators in Ovio Mindfulness (www.ovio.co.nz).
