Ovio Mindfulness Classes

Ovio Mindfulness One Course

The courses provided are designed to teach participants how to cut through the complexity and the noise in their head to live with purpose, balance and ease.  It enables participants to recognise and manage the internal running commentary of life and analysis of previous events or anticipating future events so that they can live fully in the moment instead of being on automatic pilot.

When we take the time to consciously acknowledge our thinking we become better able to respond, rather than simply react, to situations. Mindfulness training teaches us to break free of this habitual thinking allowing us to be our better selves. We become able to tap into our body’s natural relaxation response allowing us to deal with life’s ups-and-downs with greater awareness. 

Courses may be individual, or group based; clinic based or at your workplace.

The course involves 3 x 1-hour sessions to enable participants to:

  1. Reduce the amount of time spent living ‘in our heads’ and carrying out our lives in autopilot.
  2. Explore strategies to switch off distracting thoughts and worries and focus on the moment.
  3. Learn to pause in order to respond to triggers rather than react in an automatic fashion.
  4. Learn powerful new skills that assist with improving focus and engagement; reduce stress and anxiety; increase confidence, productivity and enhance relationships

Location: Mornington Pilates Studio

Day/Time: Wednesday 6-7pm

Cost: $95 * Please note that this class runs over 3 weeks and there is no refund for non-attendance.

Back In Motion Mindful Movement Classes

Join us in learning to calm the mind and physical self by becoming mindful of the way our bodies move and the everyday tensions they can harbour.

Our popular 60minute Mindful Movement class is designed to create space in the day for you to unwind, to foster awareness of your body and how it moves and to develop clarity and calm within our mind.

Our fully qualified Ovio® Mindfulness Facilitator will guide you through a series of movements and specific mindfulness practices that emphasise the mindfulness principles of non-judgement, awareness of the present moment, becoming fully present, utilising breath to refocus our attention, noticing our thoughts, feelings, our body and in turn developing acceptance of self and others & a deeper compassion.

In turn the above will help you to improve clarity, focus, engagement and productivity; reduce stress, anxiety and irritability; repair sleep, increase energy levels and enhance your well-being, resilience and relationships with others.
